Outfield In-Studio Update!! The band is currently in England working diligently on the songs that will become the next full blown Outfield studio album! They are extremely excited about the way the songs are coming together! Some of the working titles & a brief description of the songs are:
"This Life is Your Life"
"Saving Grace" - a very musical song with lots of light and shade
"Always Looking at the Sky"
"All I Want is You" - a slower to mid-tempo ballad type song
"Untitled" - 'ATLITW' meets 'SYBG' with dirty guitars over a very 'Outfield' sounding groove!
A lot of work is yet to be done on the CD, but the plan is to release it sometime this spring/summer. We will keep you updated as things progress.

Friday, Oct. 1 - Tony Lewis will do a live call-in to "CHRY" Radio, 105.5FM In Toronto, at 5:30am eastern.
Sunday, Oct. 3 - Entire band will do a live call-in Sunday night to "Celebrity Sports Talk USA" -- syndicated on over 100 stations across the country -- at 11:05pm Central time. You can listen on the web at www.usaradio.net, click on "studio" on their home page, and then scroll down on the studio page to the audio player of your choice for the live feed.

* VH-1 "Where are they now" Segment * The Outfield's newly taped VH-1 segment will air for the first time on September 7th, at 10pm. We are told that it will then air 5 times during the the week following that date, then it will be put into standard programming and air many times after that first week. So be looking out for it to find out where the band has been and what they're up to now!

It's official: "PLAY DEEP" went Triple Platinum!!!
The Outfield were presented with their Triple Platinum Record Award during the show in Atlanta, GA on Thursday night! We will have photos up soon of the days events! By all acounts Thursday night's show was one of the best ever! Thanks to all the fans who have supported the band all along, and thanks for helping to push "Play Deep" over the 3 million mark!!!

* The Outfield Interview on 99x in Atlanta* The Outfield will be appearing on the morning show on 99x (99.7 FM) with Barnes, Leslie, and Jimmy on Thursday morning July 15th, sometime between 9 and 10am.

* Atlanta in-store record signing * The Outfield will be at the Tower Records (Lenox Mall Location) in Atlanta on Thurs, July 15th to autograph their new CD for those who purchase it there. The tentative time is 6:30pm, however the schedule is subject to change, so please contact the store location on the day for exact details. The Tower Records is located near to Marta (Public Transportation) which could get you down to to venue for the show that evening.

We've been notified that a VH-1 camera crew will be on hand Sunday afternoon (June 20th) in Dayton, Ohio to interview The Outfield and obtain some footage of the day's events for an upcoming segment of "Where Are They Now". So come and join in on the afternoons festivities.
More information: 6/20, Dayton, OH, charity softball game - The Outfield & station winners vs. the staff of Mix 107.7 Radio/WMMX. Will benefit local food bank - bring canned food for admittance to game. Game time = 2:00pm eastern. Call station for field name & directions at 937-224-1137.

* TV Appearance * - Tuesday, June 1st, 9am - 10am Central - The Outfield will appear on "Good Morning Texas" WFAA-TV (ABC). So set your VCR's! This will also be broadcast live on the internet at Broadcast.com!

* Big News! * - New Outfield music is finally on its way! With the help of their new management team at Gold Mountain Entertainment, the Outfield have secured a label to release their upcoming CD. The mastering is complete and the album entitled"Extra Innings (Unreleased)" is now in production . We have been given a tentative release date from Platinum Entertainment (the label & distribution company releasing the project) of July 13th. The CD is comprised of a variety of unreleased material from the past few years as well as some incredible new songs recorded just for this release. Specific tracks to look out for are "Heaven's Little Angel", "Certain Kinda' Love", & "One Love". With 15 tracks included on the CD, this is an incredible package of Outfield music, and will be well worth the wait! The CD's should also be available for purchase on the tour this summer(mid july).
Also, the tour plans are progressing nicely. More dates have been added to the Current Tour section of the site. So check it out! The tour will now kick off on Friday, May 28th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida! If you caught the tour last fall then you won't want to miss them this summer! They will be incorporating several new songs into the setlist, along with the classic Outfield hits we all love!
There will be loads of great merchandise available at the shows this summer, so look out for it!
